The Sounds' new album hit store shelves on March 21st with the single "Song With A Mission" - this swedish band has come a long way from their debut album 'Living in America' which was when the members were barely out of high school and they have earned best newcomer awards and a Swedish Grammy. They have also toured Warped Tour, with Foo Fighters and the Strokes! This new album is a little more punk and pop savvy, rock songs are a little heavier and mixed with a couple genres. It features song everyone would love my favorite being "Queen Of Apology" which you would like too. I feel in love with this band because they seem to have a unique sound and every song is wonderful, you should check them out!

Last night, I went to see Freedomland with my mother and step-father. The stars in the film are Samuel L. Jackson (Lorenzo Council) & Julianne Moore (Brenda Martin). Brenda's son goes missing after what she says was a carjacking and detective Lorenzo is given the case. After a few days passes her son is believed to be dead and soon a racial controversy is started since she says the carjacker was an African-American and they close down the projects where the kidnapping happened to try to find the suspect. Later a missing person activist helps Lorenzo unsolve the case and they discover something far more than a carjacking/kidnapping.

I thought this movie was really good, Julianna's acting in this film was amazing. It was nothing like The Forgotten when she played a mother whose child just disappears and everyone around her acts like the child never exsisted it was far more than that. But in Freedomland she had to play an addict who has been clean for 5 years, but ir was clear she might have a few mental problems. But who wouldn't after their child has gone missing? Samuel L. Jackson's character had a few problems of his own as well, but lets not spoil the film too much for those who haven't seen it. Trust me, go see this movie!!

Also the advertisements before the movie were good, I seen a preview for The Da Vinci Code which doesn't come out until May! I was like why show a preview now? I want to see it so bad but won't be able to til a couple more months!! Tom Hanks is an great actor, he was transform into any type of character he wants. Mark your calendar fans of the great show The Pretender, because on Feb. 14th the third season will be released. I already own Season 1 and Season 2 so I can't wait til the 14th of this month, I do have a count down going on inside my head. This was honestly one of the best shows on tv and I'm glad I am able to own it in these boxsets. If you're not familiar with it, its a show about a man named Jarod who when he was a younger boy he was kidnapped by The Centre because he has a special ability that allows him to impersonate anybody and any job he'd like. They use his ability for good or bad, pretty much not caring if it hurts anyone. Soon as he becomes older he notices this and escapes and wants to find his family, along the way as he searches he helps several different people that he meets. The Centre follows him everywhere he goes because they need to catch him because he knows alot and also they want him for his ability, he gets away from them in a witty manner and then still chase after. There is more to this show - so I recommend checking it out. You're love it, if you are a fan or a new fan. Trust me!!

Just in time for the holidays is Mr & Mrs Smith a nice action movie with a touch of comedy and love, with two of the greaters people Angelina Jolie (my favorite actress) and Brad Pitt. They are John and Jane Smith both highly paid assassins with a huge secret, they both keep their occupations secret although they both do the same thing. The secret explodes when they're both sent to the same mission and end up blowing it when they realise another assassin is on the job (without knowing its their husband/wife). After they fail the mission they are ordered to kill each other and then they realise they have been ordered to kill their loved one. It is a hard mission but they try to complete it and that is when the movie really gets good. The dvd will be in stores November 29th, and will make a great gift.

They say The Happy Elf is going to be a classic Christmas cartoon, one that you will watch with your family for many MANY years. I totally agree with this after watching the trailer on the official website for this cute cartoon (http://www.thehappyelf.com/) because it seems to have a nice story-line, a great cast of voices, and of course the wonderful Harry Connick Jr who has an amazing voice while singing and just talking. The dvd of The Happy Elf will be in stores everywhere December 6th but you can also watch it when it comes on NBC December 2nd (Friday 8/7c)

I went to see the new Harry Potter movie 'Goblet Of Fire' with my friend Candice and brother Jorge the day after it hit theaters, November 19th. Me and Candice both thought it was a really good movie, I was so anxious to see it since I thought book 4 was the best one. I honestly think this movie was the best as well, but they could have added a little more. Like the at the beginning they rushed the Quidditch tournament and quickly made it into when the Dark wizards attack and the Dark sign appears. They could have waited a little bit before showing that, just so you could see the tournament and all. Right now is is #1 at the box office, but that isn't saying much since all the Harry Potter movies are usually #1. The movie was 2 hours and 30 minutes and I loved every second of it. I highly recommend everyone to go see this movie, I'm heading out to see it at least one or two more times. Even if you're not a fan of the Harry Potter books or movies you still will enjoy it, especially since my brother did.

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Destiny's Child may be dissolving after finishing its world tour, but longtime fans of the group can look forward to the February 2006 release from former member LeToya Luckett.

The long-anticipated album by Luckett, who was in the group from 1993 to 1999, before it hit the big time, will be preceded by the single "All Eyes on Me."

On the self-titled project from Capitol Records, Houston native Luckett is joined by local rappers Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Bun B. Luckett describes the sound as "hard R&B."

"I will always be an R&B singer," she says. "However, on this album I'm singing over hip-hop beats -- things you would expect rappers to be on."

Luckett, who will shortly shoot the "All" video, is also busy overseeing her Houston clothing store, Lady Elle. The 2-year-old outlet specializes in what Luckett calls "cute, girly stuff," including several denim lines.
